The City of Los Angeles’ ULA Emergency Renters Assistance Program offers up to six months of rental arrears support to low-income renters facing homelessness due to unpaid rent linked to COVID-19 or financial hardship. Application period: opens 8:00 am September 19, 2023 closes: 6:00 pm October 2, 2023
Eligibility criteria include residency in Los Angeles, experiencing financial difficulties between March 2020 to now, owing rent from April 2020 onwards, and having a household income below 80% of the area median income.
There will be three ways to apply:

- In-Person: Visit housing.lacity.org for application intake office locations
- Apply online @ housing.lacity.org 24/7 until program closes
