At our specially scheduled May 25 Meeting the Mission Hills Neighborhood Council seated four new Board Members:
- Wendy Diaz-Antonio took the Residential Homeowner Seat and stepped up as Vice President. She is a returning Board Member. She shares, “I’m looking forward to continuing to work with our neighbors and local representatives to bring our community together and provide guidance and support!”
- Susan Fuchs took the Business Owner Stakeholder Seat and is familiar with the workings of the MHNC, being married to the President.
- Rodney Gonzalez took the At Large Stakeholder Seat. He is a local realtor and sits on the PTSA Board for San Jose St. Elementary School. .
- Beryl Strauss took the Homeowner Stakeholder Seat. She is a local homeowner and Board Member of her HOA
We are truly glad to welcome these new Board Members and excited to get back to work for Mission Hills!
Senior Lead Officer Phillip Ruiz and firefighters from our Local Mission Hills Fire Station #75 presented during the meeting.
Students from Vintage Magnet Robotics Team. We approved their Neighborhood Purposes Grant for new competition kits.
