Update: At our December 1, 2025 Meeting we again took action to support Council File 25-0843.

At our October 6, 2025 Meeting we heard a presentation by Sandra Marquez regarding Council File 25-0843 on the Interim Control Ordinance. The motion notes the RV parks are being administratively permitted in single family neighborhoods under the Municipal Code Section 14.00, Public Benefits Projects. There is very little oversight in the development of the parks and members of the Mission Hills Community showed up to this meeting in force concerned about the negative impact to their neighborhoods.

Residents are shocked to have learned that an RV park is being built at Lassen and Lemona, having been issued a permit after only having to meet 12 performance standards without notification or a public hearing and that another application for this type of permit has been filed a short distance away on Lemona near Devonshire.

The board voted to support the Council File to support the community and bring oversight the protect the community and residents of the RV parks.
