In 2022 the Mission Hills Neighborhood Council focused on reigniting our efforts to raise awareness of the Council and meet stakeholders like you in person at community events.

  • In May we joined with Councilwoman Monica Rodriguez MRod Volunteer Corps to clean up around Brand Park. The entire Mission Hills Neighborhood Council Outreach Committee participated.
  • To celebrate July 4, our Outreach Committee placed Happy July 4th signs in the median with the Welcome to Mission Hills sign.
  • In August we greeted stakeholders with freebies at National Night Out, a partnership to bring law enforcement and the community together.
  • In December we helped bring Santa to Mission Hills for the Holiday at Olivo event, which also included crafts, gifts and photos with Santa.

Of course we also weighed in on policy issues, such as calling for the removal of Councilmembers DeLeon and Cedillo for their unacceptable conversation. And we congratulated Councilwoman Monica Rodriguez on another year serving Mission Hills in City Council.

We invite you to join us in 2023:
