Running for City Council of Mission Hills, to empower the community, and to bring inclusiveness the community in Mission Hills. As I look around Mission Hills, all I see is opportunities to grow as a community. We have beautiful parks, schools, shops, neighbors, and families to which we owe our full support, so as a community we can maintain Mission Hills a peaceful and beautiful community. I want to stimulate the community by bringing ideas, energy, positivity, trust, encouragement, and empowerment to my fellow neighbors and members of the Mission Hills community. I will support the Mission Hills community with inclusive ideas to make the community more aware of local decisions and make Mission Hills as a united community. Living in Mission Hills has made me aware of how amazing my community is, and energized me to run for City Council. As a CSUN student I feel that have the skills and mindset to make ideas into action to address issues of the Mission Hills community.

I’m a healthcare worker, an organizer, and a proud Valley advocate. I care to show up to our monthly meetings, listen to participants, and ask critical questions to follow up with recommendations. Our neighborhood has been home to my family since 2004 and I want to join the board to make a difference with y’all. As a committed first-generation MSW/social worker grad and voter, I’m running to increase community participation, improve collaboration and transparency with our elected officials, and advance social justice.

I joined the current Board in 2017 as a business owner. I currently serve as the Secretary and as chairman of the bylaws and standing rules committee. I would like to continue on serving the community that supports my business and help to make Mission Hills safe and clean for all residents.
