I am pleased to share that the Los Angeles City Council unanimously approved an ordinance that was a direct result of my motion to establish an Interim Control Ordinance (ICO) regarding recreational vehicle (RV) parks across the city. Watch my latest MRod in Motion video explainer here.

The ordinance pauses new RV park approvals utilizing the public benefits code so we can take a closer look at proposed new RV parks and correct the city’s zoning rules. It also gives the Department of City Planning and the City Attorney time to correct these rules, and develop stronger standards that address key community concerns related to health and safety.

This is about protecting our neighborhoods, promoting responsible planning, and making sure every development in Los Angeles reflects the values and safety of the people who live there.
