A New Day for Mental Health in LA County
Fifteen crisis residential treatment programs (CRTPs) are being developed to open in the next year at four Los Angeles County Medical Center campuses through a program overseen by the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health (DMH) Intensive Care Division (ICD). The CRTPs provide LA County adults experiencing a behavioral health crisis with 24/7 intensive treatment.
Sylmar will serve the San Fernando, Santa Clarita, and Antelope Valleys
Central Star Behavioral Health is pleased to announce the upcoming opening of one of the CRTPs located at the Olive View UCLA Medical Center in Sylmar. Central Star will operate one of five CRTPs at this location, and its affiliates will operate two others to open later in Sylmar.
The 16-bed center is in a safe and therapeutic homelike setting on a landscaped campus that is part of the $100 million-plus Restorative Care Village.
