This week's news includes face mask requirements, park closure for Easter, domestic violence assistance, additional $600 for unemployment, how to volunteer from home for the census and dogs working from home.
The County has closed beaches, beach bike paths, bathrooms, piers, promenades and trails. The City has closed all outdoor sports amenities — including skate parks, tennis courts, baseball fields, and basketball courts. Parks still remain open for walking or running; however, when at a park for any reason, Angelenos must maintain a distance of at least six feet between individuals at all times. Restrooms accessible to the outdoors will remain open during regular operating hours.

Voters will now have between three and ten days before election day to cast their ballots. Additionally, voters will be able to pre-select their choices for each office through an interactive sample ballot, which will produce a unique QR code that can be scanned by the new voting machines.
