Community Support has been the focus of the Mission Hills Neighborhood Council in 2024.
We provided funding for the Mission Cadet Program, the largest in LAPD, serving about 150 kids providing training, uniforms and real world experience, preparing them for the future. We gave $5,000 to sponsor the Mission Foot Pursuit to help fund the cadet program.
We sponsored YMCA Thanksgiving meals with a grant of $2,500 which distributes food through our local schools.
