San Fernando Mission Blvd. and Laurel Canyon Blvd. in the City of Mission Hills
Honoring Those Who Served Past and Present
SIZE AND SCOPE: In recent past, the parade has involved more than 120 veterans groups and numerous high school marching bands and the San Diego-based Navy Band Southwest. All of the wartime eras will be specifically represented (from WWII to Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom (Afghanistan).
LOCATION: The parade will begin at the corner of Laurel Canyon Blvd. and San Fernando Mission Blvd, proceed down Laurel Canyon Blvd.1.1 miles and culminate at the Ritchie Valens Recreation Center and Park, 10736 Laurel Canyon Blvd., Pacoima, CA 91331 (corner of Laurel Canyon Blvd. and Paxton St.). There will be a carnival at the Ritchie Valens Recreation Center.
ANNOUNCEMENTS: Stage with Dignitaries and our MC Bobby Arias from Communities in Schools will be on Laurel Canyon Blvd. at Brand Blvd.
